Eat little fish to grow. Bite chunks off rival eels — or swallow smaller ones whole. Grab a
starfish for a shield, and gulp a glowing
baby electric eel to charge your zap.
Anything that dies leaves
energy behind — hoover it up to grow.
Don't cross your own tail, or you'll bite yourself and shrink.
Fish get you to
level 2. After that a
boss guards every level and killing it
is the only way on — shock it, then ram it. The hits it takes climbs every other level: a
level 6 boss takes four. You get a breather after each one (and some points to earn besides),
so go and find a starfish.
Small fish — food. Bite rival eels' tails, or eat smaller ones whole
Feast orb — a whole shoal at once, worth 10×
Energy motes — left by anything that dies; eat them to grow
Predators — they'll eat you. Shock them, then devour
Starfish — a shield that saves you from one hit
Baby electric eel — fills your zap meter
Present — could be points, a shield, a charge… or a nasty surprise
